So a while ago a few of my friends and I went to this place called ESC-IT, which is a real life version of room escape games. I don’t know how many people are familiar with the genre, but it’s like The Crimson Room or 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. The basic run down is that you get locked into a room and have to find clues within the room that will ultimately lead to your escape.
We went to this place expecting a few laughs, but ended up spending one of the ice-storm nights there playing through two out of the four rooms, and then went back a second time to polish off the rest. You get 45 minutes in each room to solve the puzzle and find the key. If you get out under that time, you get a polaroid pasted on the Wall of Fame, and if you don’t (like we didn’t), you get your face pasted on the Wall of Shame.
This place is really cool, and I highly recommend anyone who’s interested in the room escape genre to check it out. Here’s their website!!
holy shit and it’s in my cityyy!!
nothing annoys me more than when teachers say “now i want you to work with someone you don’t normally talk to” because not only am i soul crushingly self conscious but there is a REASON I DON’T TALK TO THESE PEOPLE
"this baby came out of you but im not 100% sure its yours"
im tired of things costing money
Anyone out there as obsessed with snakes as I am?
i need to get money
i need to find a way to get money
a job is not a way
Omfg "talk about" is a lot cuter than ask me
things i’m emotionally attached to
- the one pair of jeans that fit perfectly
- a specific pencil or pen
- that really comfy sweater
- super comfy underwear that makes your butt look good
- drinking out of one specific mug
